As much as i wish I was on the beach right now, I'm not. Yet. Don't get me wrong, I love Lisbon, but when it's 32ºC outside the last thing I want to do is strolling around the city, because of how devilishly hot it is. Also, Lisbon doesn't have many parks (some people might disagree on this, but for me just lawn and a couple of trees is not a proper park as far as I'm concerned - i need more elements). However, there's a place right in the centre of Lisbon that I can't help but love - the Gulbenkian Foundation. I can't think of a time when I didn't love to go there. Sure, there are two art museums and auditoriums and exhibitions as well, but the gardens are breathtaking, by far my favorite thing about this place.

So, yeah. As you can see, the photos mainly contemplate the things you won't find in your ordinary park in Lisbon - the lake and ducks (not to mention shadow, a must when you are as white as a sheet and need to take your sunscreen everywhere during summer or else your skin will turn into sundried tomato). So many, many ducks. The funny thing about this is that they're not even scared of people. They just wander round bitting (?) the grass around, and they run switflty towards the person who feeds them the most bread. Also, ducks get dangerously close if you happen to be having lunch here. There times when I get really freaked out by how interested they seem to be in my food, because I don't want them to attack me. My, "The Birds" really got to me.

Oh, and that's me. I might look sad/angry, but I'm not. I just suck really badly at selfies. But I thought it was time for you to see what my face looks like (kind of). Freckles, freckles everywhere.

And of course I had to have a scone, my favourite pastry thing ever. Actually, the cafeteria of the Ancient Art Museum is pretty great and these were delicioooous.
